Abstract

Intolerance in schools has become a pressing issue in Indonesia, particularly at SMA Negeri 1 Cepogo, Boyolali a community service partner that has struggled to absorb anti-intolerance material in Civics and Islamic Religious Education PPKn subjects despite being integrated into the curriculum. Differences in religion, ethnicity, and social background often trigger misunderstandings and conflicts among students, threatening the social cohesion of education. This community service is relevant because the Third Principle of Pancasila, "Indonesian Unity," is an essential ideological foundation for maintaining national harmony in an era of plurality. The main objective is to improve students' understanding and soft skills of tolerance through an innovative internalization of the value of unity. The methodology combines a qualitative descriptive approach with basic quantitative data, targeting 70 10th-grade students through a series of participatory socialization, reflective discussions, interactive educational games, and Kahoot-based digital quizzes with pre- and post-test evaluations. Empirical results recorded a significant increase in understanding of intolerance from an average of 70% to 90% (a 28.6% increase), proving the effectiveness of Pancasila-based collaborative learning strategies in shaping inclusive character. The research's implications recommend systematically strengthening the Pancasila curriculum, accompanied by tripartite collaboration between schools, families, and communities, to ensure a sustainable ecosystem of tolerance. Overall, the Third Principle of Pancasila has proven to be a strategic pillar for building harmonious and inclusive school unity.
