Penerapan Teknik Reportase Wawancara (People Trail) Dalam Produksi Video Feature “Seventeen Menginspirasi, Carat Berkontribusi”

In recent years, Korean Pop (K-Pop) culture has expanded beyond entertainment to form fan communities with strong identities and social activities. One of the largest K-Pop fandoms in Indonesia is CARAT, the fan community of the South Korean group SEVENTEEN, which is actively involved in various social and humanitarian initiatives. However, limited media coverage has caused these activities to be overlooked, reinforcing negative stereotypes toward K-Pop fandoms. This study aims to highlight the social activities of the CARAT Bandung community through a human-interest feature video entitled “SEVENTEEN Inspires, CARAT Contributes”. The methods employed include journalistic reporting techniques consisting of research, observation, and interviews with community members and professional sources. The findings indicate that CARAT Bandung not only focuses on entertainment-related activities but also builds social relationships, solidarity, and meaningful social contributions. The feature video demonstrates that K-Pop fandoms can function as positive social agents and serve as relevant journalistic media for shaping public perspectives on fan communities in Indonesia.
