Pengaruh Budaya Organisasi terhadap Kepuasan Kerja Pegawai pada Dinas Perhubungan Kota Makassar

This study aims to determine the influence of organizational culture on employee job satisfaction at the Department of Transportation of Makassar City. The focus of this research is to analyze the extent to which values, norms, and habits that shape organizational culture can affect job satisfaction. The research method uses a quantitative approach with a survey conducted on 80 respondents. Data were analyzed using simple linear regression. The results show that organizational culture has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction. The stronger the organizational culture is implemented, the higher the level of employee job satisfaction. These findings emphasize the importance of applying values such as integrity, teamwork, discipline, and professionalism in improving employee job satisfaction in the public service sector. The main focus of this research is to identify the extent to which values, norms, and habits that shape organizational culture can influence employees’ attitudes and feelings toward their work. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method. Data were obtained through the distribution of questionnaires to 80 respondents who are employees of the Department of Transportation of Makassar City. The data analysis technique used was simple linear regression to determine the effect of the organizational culture variable on the job satisfaction variable. The results of the study show that organizational culture has a positive and significant effect on employee job satisfaction. The stronger the organizational culture implemented, the higher the level of employee job satisfaction. These findings affirm that the application of values such as integrity, cooperation, and discipline in organizational culture can enhance employees’ motivation and work loyalty. Based on the analysis and discussion conducted, it can be concluded that organizational culture has a positive and significant influence on employee job satisfaction at the Department of Transportation of Makassar City. The better the implementation of organizational culture in the form of values such as result orientation, open communication, and concern for employees, the higher the job satisfaction of employees. A healthy organizational culture plays an important role in shaping positive work behavior, increasing commitment, and supporting the achievement of optimal organizational performance.
