Pengaruh Kepemimpinan dan Kompensasi Terhadap Kinerja Pegawai Dinas Ketenagakerjaan Kota Medan

The research problem in this study includes whether leadership affects the performance of employees at the Manpower Office of Medan City, whether compensation affects the performance of employees at the Manpower Office of Medan City, whether leadership and compensation simultaneously influence the performance of employees at the Manpower Office of Medan City. The objectives of this study are to identify the effect of leadership on employee performance, to identify the effect of compensation on employee performance, and to identify the combined effect of leadership and compensation on the performance of employees at the Manpower Office of Medan City. This study uses a quantitative approach involving 70 employees as both the population and the sample. Data analysis was conducted using SPSS version 22. The analytical techniques applied include data quality tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression analysis, and hypothesis testing. The results of the study indicate that leadership has a positive and significant effect on employee performance at the Manpower Office Medan City. In addition, compensation also has a positive and significant effect on employee performance at the Manpower Office Medan City. Simultaneously, leadership and compensation have a positive and significant effect on employee performance at the Manpower Office of Medan City.
