Abstract

Sexual violence against children is a serious problem that frequently occurs in society, including in educational settings. Many children lack a sufficient understanding of their rights to their bodies and how to protect themselves from physically and psychologically harmful behavior. Education on body protection and the prevention of sexual violence is still minimal at the elementary school level. Providing age-appropriate knowledge is crucial for recognizing, avoiding, and reporting inappropriate behavior. The solution offered in this community service activity is to provide knowledge, prevention practices, and a pocket book. It is lecture-based, providing knowledge on preventing inappropriate touching of certain body parts. The method includes identifying and analyzing needs, planning implementation activities, and providing several material delivery activities tailored to classroom conditions. The pocket book is tailored to the material and students' conditions for ease of understanding. It includes a song about preventing sexual violence through touch, which encourages students to be more protective of their bodies.
