Pelatihan Pembuatan Eco-enzyme dari Bahan Baku Limbah Rumah Tangga Sebagai Upaya Perbaikan Kesuburan Tanah di Desa Arjasa Kecamatan Arjasa Kabupaten Jember

Intensive use of chemical fertilizers has led to a decline in soil physical, chemical, and biological quality, while also increasing production costs for small-scale farmers due to rising non-subsidized fertilizer prices. This community service activity aims to empower the Sumber Tani Farmer Group in Arjasa Village, Jember Regency, through training on producing eco-enzymes from household organic waste as a solution to improve soil fertility and increase farming cost efficiency. The implementation method used a participatory approach (learning by doing), which included three main stages: preparation, implementation (counseling, demonstration, and direct practice), and monitoring and evaluation. The activity, conducted from May to October 2025, was attended by 30 farmers. The results showed an increase in the partners' knowledge and skills in processing organic waste into eco-enzyme and applying it to agricultural land. The program successfully encouraged farmer independence in providing liquid organic fertilizer, reduced dependence on chemicals, and supported the creation of an environmentally friendly, sustainable agriculture system.
